Description
When ten-year-old Dinah and her two siblings are trapped by a terrible storm, cousin Gage keeps up their spirits with an unlikely fantasy. A tale of a newly hatched, orphaned skibberee, or tooth fairy, called What-the-Dickens, who hopes to find a home among the skibberee tribe, if only he can stay out of trouble. Dinah is skeptical at first, but stories told by candlelight on stormy nights have a way of becoming real, and Dinah begins to believe.
