Participants/Performers
Annabel is an Aussie mum living in rural Virginia. She owns Little Pincushion Studio, a sweet space where she teaches many little sewing pixies everything they need to know to go forth and conquer the world of sewing and creating. Her teaching philosophy is that everything is possible and that perfection is for the birds! She strongly encourages children to use color and print in a way that will truly inspire them and to think outside the box when it comes to creativity. Annabel has written three books: We Love to Sew: 28 Pretty Things to Make,We Love to Sew: Bedrooms, andWe Love to Sew: Gifts.
Description
This project is a chic way to use fabric scraps - as well as mix prints with felt and neon thread. The necklace Annabel and her daughter designed is reversible, and its series of stitched lines creates a beautiful sketched quality. It makes a great beginning sewing project because of its freeform nature, and the bold finished piece adds cheer to any outfit.
